HAGS Playground Equipment Event at De Vere Beaumont Estate Hotel
The team at Carron Marquees was approached by De Vere Beaumont Estate Hotel, Windsor. This 18th-century mansion house has welcomed guests such as Winston Churchill and King Edward VII. It now affords visitors picturesque views of the rolling countryside alongside hosting spaces, restaurants and luxurious suites. The team here were looking for a marquee to provide cover for an event they were hosting with HAGS.
The Brief
Specialising in outdoor equipment for playgrounds, parks, sports and other recreational areas, HAGS has chosen this beautiful site so showcase their products. The marquee was required for February 2020 and needed to be pitched outside to accommodate equipment that would be secured to the ground. To fully understand the requirements, our team visited the De Vere Beaumont Estate Hotel to conduct a full and detailed site review. This enabled us to understand the available space, ground condition and other factors that could impact our suggestions.
The Chosen Marquee
It was determined that a 15m x 21m frame marquee on 3-meter legs would provide ample coverage for our client. We got to work early on the morning of the event, working meticulously with our experienced team to erect the marquee as swiftly as possible. Once we’d completed our stage of the project, HAGS came in with diggers and their teams to position and secure their playground equipment. We also supplied flooring, chandelier lighting and heating to keep the environment comfortable for every visitor.
The finished result was impressive and practical. Visitors had enough space to walk freely around the equipment displayed with HAGs able to demonstrate anti-slip floor options too. The expansive area created under our marquee was ample enough that the equipment fitters could work underneath protection – even with heavy machinery and the need to remove earth. On the day, our marquee and HAGS branding pulled together the perfect event location and one that allowed guests to also enjoy the beauty of their surroundings.
